Reinforce the drive to win.

The Team Spirit Track Challenge is a one and a half day team-building event for up to 21 people.
The group will be divided into teams that become focussed, efficient and highly motivated as they are quite literally pitted against each other, and the clock.
Participants will compete in a series of timed events that can only be successfully completed through effective teamwork. Dealing with all aspects of a pit crew's responsibilities, they will learn as much about each other as they do about the pressures of competitive racing.

Your colleagues’ time will be divided between the racetrack and the hotel. There are four events available on the challenge, any three of which can be selected to form the core of your one and a half day team-building programme. These events will be completed by mid afternoon on the full day, leaving the remainder of the afternoon and the following morning free. This time can be used to tailor your own complementary events.

Event 1 The drive of your life.
You may like the idea of a flight in a modern fighter aircraft, a Tornado GR1 or an F15, but you wouldn’t want your first flight to be solo. The same is true of our Radical SR3 cars.
To really enjoy the thrill of cornering at 170mph, to experience the adrenaline rush of a lap driven at competitive speeds, you need to be sitting next to someone who can squeeze maximum performance out of these astonishing cars. Everyone will be given the chance to do three laps with one of our team drivers, negotiating bends at speeds they will not have experienced before (we recommend a light breakfast). Any aspiring Schumachers are welcome to go first.
Event 2 Small cogs and big machines.
When everyone has recovered from the track event the competition starts in earnest. The teams have to strip down and rebuild a Radical engine. The target time is one and a half hours. The clock stops when they turn the key for a successful ignition.
This sounds daunting we know, but it isn’t about giving the petrol heads a chance to show off (no doubt they will have a vital part to play). Success in this event depends far less on technical knowledge, than it does on an even temper and good teamwork. Those who work well together will win.
Event 3 Pressure in the pits.
Drivers alone don’t win races, they win it as a team. The pit stop plays a vital role in this success. Your teams will be tasked with refuelling a car and completing a wheel change, safely, efficiently – and fast.
They will be given one hour of practice time, then they go against the clock.
For safety they will use water instead of fuel, but the pressure is real, as is the sense of achievement when they beat the target time and the other teams. Here again, the key to success is teamwork, teamwork, teamwork!
Event 4 Driving you crazy.
What about a chance to drive? Plenty of people think they have what it takes to be a pro driver. They should find the various tests of skill in the driver challenge easy. They should do – bet they won’t. If people want to laugh, let off steam, and put themselves through the driving test from hell (in a Landrover), this wildcard event is a must. But the more we tell you now - the less fun you will have on the day!
Everyone’s a winner
The perfect end to an outstanding day, the gala dinner and prize giving provides everyone with an opportunity to reflect on a day of excitement and fun. You can have prizes for the best team, the loudest scream - or the worst language. It’s up to you.
Whether highly competitive, educative, serious or light-hearted, you choose the day that suits your organisation’s needs. By the end of it, whatever your people have learned about racing cars and motor sport, we guarantee they will have learned far more about themselves and each other, about what it means to work - and succeed - together.
