Like most great drivers, Michael Evely's obsession with driving goes back as long as he can remember.
After progressing through carting, his determination to race finally won him the chance to compete in the 2003 BRDC Single Seater Championship. He had never even sat in a Formula Ford before the test for his first meeting, but went on to achieve spectacular success - winning both races in his debut event at Donington Park, and continuing to take the Championship title in his first year.
This triumph earned Michael instant recognition, as well as offers from Formula Ford, Formula Palmer Audi, TVR Racing and Radical. He chose Radical. Why? Of the Radical SR3 Michael says “The car was beautiful to drive, incredibly quick at both acceleration and cornering speed, but comfortable with it”. It was obviously love at first sight!

Now Michael is looking to build on his early success. He wants a podium finish in the Pro Sport and Bio Sport Endurance championships. He knows he has the skill to do it. He knows he has the car to do it. But what about using ‘Billies’ (that’s you and me) as pit crew? “The Team Spirit Race Weekend is a pretty unique concept,” admits Michael, “but it all adds to the challenge. If everyone does their job properly - and they will - we’re going to achieve something pretty unique”
Nothing unusual there then. With his track record of starting events as an unknown, - and finishing them unbeaten, Michael’s pretty unique himself. We believe he is an outstanding driver. We’ve paired him with an outstanding car. Dare to join them on a Team Spirit Race Weekend - and complete a truly outstanding team.
